Rules You'd get the same problem that high-BR matches had before introduction of the US, namely that everyone would only be driving these select few tanks, and everyone else would basically be thrown out of the loop for being unable to compete.īesides, with the hit detection/damage system being the wonky way it is, I'm not exactly confident that it could pull off modelling composite armour very well. Regarding the tanks to be introduced, I'm not sure the Chieftain or the T-64 would be a good idea. And important, if the Leopard gets in then other tanks of that age should be legitimatly considered, including the 120mm armed Chieftain (Let's see all those Wehraboo tears when they get ripped up by 120mm HESH) and later model Centurions (Same gun as the Leopard, but better armour) not to mention M60s, T-62s, and T-64s.I wasn't trying to say that a cutoff date in general is invalid for tanks - just the "Korea and no later" one clearly is when tanks of 10 years later and more are being considered. Originally posted by cowinspace:It is valid. It would literally mean tha ONE maus tank was USED. Half build is not used and prototypes are mostly not used too. When the allies captured the tank research facility the 2 maus that were present were 1 prototype and 1 half built. Maus = bad idea ! No maus tanks where ever used in WWII. They are also not German build but there to advance the German plane tech tree. Why don't Germany get some post war tanks ? I can't see the problem to be honest, even if they would have at least one tank of the US and Soviets under German flag as a post war tank would be nice, like they also use the MIG and SABRE. There was literally one or two Maus tank's used in the second world war LOL, and they add a tank that nearly didn't change anything on the war to the German tank tech tree ? Come on ! If I want to play a Maus I go for World of Tanks! So that's it ? Nothing else or more " modern " for Germany ? As I noticed they have added the " Maus ".
